Publication Frequency and Fees

The publication was founded in 2016.

Publication frequency: 1 time per year.

Based on the decision of the Academic Council of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University (Minutes No. 11 dated August 29, 2024), the format of the publication was changed from a printed edition to the electronic journal “Musical Art in the Educological Discourse.”

Languages of publication: Ukrainian, English.

Founder of the publication: Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University was established on December 26, 2023, through the merger of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and the Municipal Higher Education Institution “Kyiv Academy of Arts” and is their legal successor (based on the decision of the Kyiv City Council dated June 23, 2022, No. 4754/4795).

Publisher: Scientific and Methodological Center for Publishing Activities of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Ukraine.

Issue formation: Articles are accepted on a rolling basis. Materials that have successfully passed the peer-review process and received positive evaluations from reviewers are accepted for publication.

All article files are archived and stored directly on the journal’s website in the “Archives” section and at the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Each issue is approved by the Academic Council of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.

PUBLICATION FEE:

The publication fee is 65 UAH per page. The fee covers expenses related to peer review, proofreading and editing of articles, layout design of the volume, and hosting of its electronic version.

Payment details are sent to authors after successful completion of the peer-review process.

File naming format example: Surname_article, Surname_receipt.

The Editorial Board accepts single-authored articles from third-level (doctoral/PhD) higher education students funded by the state budget for free publication, provided that the articles comply with the established requirements and principles of academic integrity.

Along with the article, third-level (doctoral/PhD) higher education students funded by the state budget must submit a certificate from the postgraduate department confirming their budget-funded status. The certificate must be signed by the Head of the Postgraduate Department and certified with the department’s official seal.

The electronic version of the journal is published in open access on the journal’s website in a timely manner.
