The article considers ensemble performance as an essential component of developing musical literacy among students of professional pre-higher education institutions. The concept of the "language of features" in ensemble interaction (rhythm, intonation, balance, articulation, style, communication) is outlined. A practical model of organizing rehearsals is proposed, including short feedback cycles, peer assessment, and self-control. The material has an applied nature and can be used in educational and performance activities of ensembles of various levels.
